Just do it (the right way)

Shahid Khan

One level beyond GQIf you’re not a follower of NFL news, you may not know the name Shahid Khan. (Well, you probably do because desi names tend to repeat after about 4-5 people, but that’s not important right now.)

Shahid Khan is the man attempting to buy the Jacksonville Jaguars. And while he’s doesn’t exactly have a way with words, one can’t helped but be awed by his fashion sense. I mean you’ve heard of power clashing (well some of the more socially awkward of you probably haven’t, so here), but this is taking it a level beyond.

And while he may experiment with different hair styles, the man strictly adheres to the old adage of “mooch nahin, to kuch nahin.

So much better than that westernized Mansoor Ijaz. I mean, a desi with a Texan accent is weird enough, but combine that with dress shirts (and pants) — that’s just too much.

Those ends don’t just curl themselves

He’s also inspiring a revolution.

The extent of desi social skills has reached a new limit.

Honestly, I don’t even have anything witty to say after watching this. This was just sad on so many levels.

Also, if you have some time, check this out

Lazy Desis

Above is a sign of a store on Gerrard Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The sign states “G, Ali Baba.” The sight is pretty normal for Gerrard Street. Now please look at the sign next to it. You might have to strain your eyes to find it.

The store next to is a semi-famous chain (apparently); however, on Gerrard Street, amongst the flood of Pakistani paan shops, Indian clothing boutiques, and Bangali stores, one can’t help but to realize this is a pointed message — a conspiracy folks. The message? It should be obvious you lazy desis.

Clothing store in London called Desigual, and their tag line is “atypical wear.” Indeed.
